Charlotte is now in town! She arrived on Thursday which was also my 21st birthday! We went to see the Clairvoyants at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles that night! Surprisingly, I didn’t drink and haven’t yet. The only alcohol I’ve been downing is the kind in cold medicine, unfortunately, lol. I had to get sick right when Charlotte came!
The next day, we went to the Cubs game with my cousin and his wife! They played at Wrigley Field against the Milwaukee Brewers and beat them, 3-0. Before the game, we went to the Cubby Bear for drinks (water for me, of course). My cousin bought Charlotte and I some awesome Cubs hats too. It was a bit chilly that day, but we still had tons of fun!
After that, Charlotte and I went to 360 Chicago, formerly known as the John Hancock center. This was one of the attractions on our Chicago Pass. We went up to the 94th floor to view Chicago from all angles. I thought this was a lot nicer than the Willis Tower, or Skydeck Chicago, because although you were able to stand on the ledge with glass beneath you, I felt you could see more and stand closer to the edge at 360 Chicago. However, the tilt at 360 wasn’t all that great either. It was an extra $6 with our pass, so not expensive at all, but it wasn’t all that exciting. Sure, you could see a bit more of what was underneath you, but it was fast and not all I had hoped for.
The next day, we biked to the Museum of Science and Industry and went to the Field Museum. Tomorrow is another day in Chicago, so be ready for my next post about the museums, aquarium, and other fun attractions!

I didn’t know they renamed the John Hancock Building! I went to school in the area. What a fun jaunt through an exciting city!
